Terms and Conditions

 

Please read the following terms and conditions of Baked Beauties prior to placing an order. By ordering and/or payment of a deposit towards a cake, you hereby agree to these Terms and Conditions as set out below.

Order Confirmation

We do operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, according to the availability on our schedule, we may be able to accept orders at shorter notice. Please contact us at contact@bakedbeauties.com.au or on Facebook Messenger to confirm our availability.

Once we’ve confirmed your order with you, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order for your selected date.

Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been received. The remaining balance of the order is to be paid in full seven (7) days prior to pick up or delivery date, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Customers are also welcome to pay in full upfront at the time of booking. All payments are made via an invoice or by applicable Shopify payment platforms. If you are only able to pay by credit card, please make us aware of this at the booking time. All online orders require full payment. Orders will only be secured in our booking system once the payment is confirmed.

Order Changes

We understand plans change and are willing to try to accommodate changes to your order. There may be additional costs associated with your order which will be confirmed at the time as these changes may also cost Baked Beauties in goods already purchased or made.

Once you have received your invoice, it is assumed that you are happy with all prices and goods ordered. If you would like to add more onto the order, this is subject to availability & notice.

Please ensure you are certain of the number of guests, design and date before confirming to avoid unnecessary charges.

Order Cancellations

Any cancellations of bookings or invoiced orders will result in the loss of your non-refundable deposit.

If you are to cancel a purchase made via the online shop, we will refund the order minus a processing fee of $10 plus GST (only if at least 3 days’ notice has been given, and/or no products have been made/purchased yet).

All cancellations or changes must be in writing with sufficient notice during business hours. If you cancel your booking within 3 days of your collection or delivery date, unfortunately the full booking amount may be forfeited. If you fail to show to your requested appointment time for collection of your order, we may not be available until our next business day for a recollection. We cannot refund for cakes that have not been collected within business hours.

Order Pick Up / Delivery

Orders can be elected to be either picked up from the Baked Beauties address, or to be delivered in the case of weddings or functions. This must be stated at the time of your booking. Orders must be picked up at the agreed upon time as we operate a strict schedule and often have other deliveries or collections to fulfil.

We understand that things do come up, if you need to move your date, you will need to notify Baked Beauties in writing with sufficient notice during business hours. The new date will be subject to availability.

To quote you for delivery, we require an address, date and time to ensure that we can facilitate this request. Cake delivery times are agreed upon at the time of booking by the client and Baked Beauties. All delivery times are given as a delivery window estimate, and Baked Beauties will aim to be in touch in the days prior to delivery to confirm details.

Express Shipping

Refunds

We want you to be 100% happy with your order! However, refunds that are
requested due to unhappiness of design, colour or general decoration
will not be honoured. We trust you have selected Baked Beauties due to our extensive experience and reputation.

If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your cake, this will be assessed by our staff. In these cases, the cake must be returned to our premises as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for a product that has been
consumed.

Please ensure you carefully review the cake at the time of collection. If you are not satisfied, we will gladly work with you to try address any concerns before you leave. However, once the cake is removed from our premises, this will be considered acceptance of the cake. Additionally, if someone else is collecting the cake on your behalf, please note that any adjustments will not be possible after collection.

Any damage that occurs once the cake has left the premise is not the responsibility of Baked Beauties. We may be able to help fix the cake depending on our availability. This will incur further costs.

Design

Each of our custom orders are designed by our team, meaning no two items will ever be exactly the same. We do not copy or replicate other artists work. We will use your inspiration pictures to assist us in your design. We will however do our very best to follow your specifications. Please note, as all of our cakes are made with buttercream, we are not always able to reproduce the exact shade/colour of a previous cake. 

Please beware, depending on the design of the cake, there may be wires or toothpicks attached to decorative toppers. This will be communicated to you upon collection of your order.  

Allergies

All of our cakes contain fresh eggs, wheat (gluten) and dairy products. We can cater to customers requiring Gluten free, Dairy free, Egg free, Nut free, etc. However these items are all used in our kitchen and in the same machinery. We will endeavour to ensure no contamination occurs during the making of your order. Baked Beauties will not be responsible for any allergy related issues, and it is the customer’s responsibility to inform guests of any risks.

Photographs

Baked Beauties reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cake(s) and desserts, before, during and after setup, to use for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, without compensation to you.

Intellectual Property

Baked Beauties name, logo, client base and recipes are the intellectual property of the company. Any duplication, distribution or misuse of such will result in legal action.
